Robin Laub, a Life Stylist

A Bourby Champagne!

If you like champagne, and from time to time some bourbon, I have a refreshing summer cocktail recipe for you. And, yep, you guessed it — it has both! Ha!

As your life stylist, I’m here to introduce you to new ideas and provide answers to your questions like what appetizer or meal to serve after these yummy drinks? All you have to do is, Just Ask!

Ingredients

1-ounce bourbon

1/2 ounce Cointreau (dry orange liqueur)

4 dashes Angostura bitters

4 ounces champagne (not Prosecco!)

Orange twist

Instructions

Combine bourbon and Cointreau with ice in a shaker. I like these simple options here. Shake it gently.

Strain into a chilled champagne flute. (I always keep flutes in the freezer.)

Top with bitters, then champagne. Garnish with an orange twist and enjoy!

Cheers to a super sweet summer cocktail!
