I used the party-in-a-cup concept when I was planning a very special birthday for a client’s daughter. I organized a party bus and upon entry on the bus I gave each guest a red Solo cup. Each cup included a colorful birthday napkin, a thin straw, a blow horn, some beads. a paper parasol, and nips. It was a hit! The guests also used similar cups to fill them with chips, cookies and other fun munchies. This party was a bash and absolutely memorable for all who attended!
I also suggest creating a party-in-a-cup for an outing when it’s cold outside. Fill a Styrofoam cup with a teabag, a single-serving bag of coffee, a packet of sweetener, a stirrer, some creamer and all you’d have to bring is a carafe of hot water and pour. It’s as easy as that! It just takes some time and organization. Need help coming up with a party-in-a-cup idea for your next event? Just ask!
A Survival Kit is another fun idea I obtained from Pinterest and then added my own creative juices to. For a client’s 21st birthday, I found an adorable, clear plastic tote bag and filled it to the brim with a “21” sash, a sparkling “21” crown, a feather boa (in the birthday girl’s favorite color), personalized M&M’s in the all-clear coin purse, sunglasses in the shape of a “21” and many more fashionable items that made the evening just glow! Oh, I also included a bottle of water and Advil just in case. Ha!
You don’t need a party or event to use these type of ideas – they also work to add a little fun to an average day. For example, maybe there are a few days of summer left and it’s a beach day? Create a beach bin! For kids, I would suggest using a plastic pail; fill it with some snacks and juice, sunscreen and a visor. Top it off with the shovel and you’ll have a happy little beacher! For adults, fill a galvanized bucket with soda, water or even a beer to wash down the beer nuts that will also be included.
There are so many ways to have fun in a fashionable manner! Just ask. I have a great party-in-a-cup idea waiting for you!
