The only day devoted to special Mamas is on May 8th — and it’s almost here! She could be your actual mom, a special friend, an aunt, a neighbor, anyone who is like family and dear to your heart. I’m deeply sorry if you have lost a Mama recently, just know that she’s watching over you with a smile so wide. Never lose sight of her. She’s always with you in spirit.

For Golfer Mom
Invite her to play a round with you. Bonus points if you include other family members! She would be delighted. Even if she has a shoddy foot injury, she’d love to ride around in a cart with you and at least putt. :) And don’t forget to tell her she’s the best putter. Ha!
For Wine Lover Mama
In Napa, there are two wineries I’d like to recommend. Ram’s Gate is a winery perched high up on the hill when you start your trek into Napa. You’ll be blown away by the views and wine tasting takes place outdoors in safe spaces. Very COVID- safe! The other winery I recommend is Grgich Hills Winery in Rutherford (part of Napa). I first visited the winery in Croatia. Yes, Grgich is Croatian where Zinfandel was originally from but Grgich’s claim to fame in Napa is their signature Chardonnay. Buy your special mama a bottle or even two. She’s THAT special.
For Sweet Tooth Mum
Order a subscription of homemade cookies that are delivered monthly to your Mama’s door! The best is Milk Jar Cookies. Not to be confused with Milk Bar cookies from NYC. They're based out of Los Angeles and the bakers there are top-notch. Each month a different variety of cookies are packaged ever so delicately in a gorgeous box. They’re so yummy your mom will love them!
