Spruce up your bbq with these grilled Thai Spice Chicken Sliders! They’re a cinch to make with only 10 minutes of prep time and grilling time is a minimal 15 minutes. So what are you waiting for? Let’s start grilling!
Ingredients:
9 slider rolls
1 lb ground chicken
1/4 chopped green onion
1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro. (I add way more for the flavorful taste! Keep extra for the Sriracha spread)
2 teaspoons fish sauce. (A good excuse to find more recipes that use fish sauce)
1 tbsp Thai Roasted Red Chili Paste
1 lime, juiced
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
9 Bok Choy leaves or lettuce and tomato
Vegetable oil to season grill
For Sriracha Spread:
1/2 cup light mayonnaise
1 tbsp Sriracha
Directions:
Season your grill with vegetable oil and turn to medium high heat. You can also fry these sliders on your stove stop. Still just as yummy!
Slice the slider rolls in half and throw them on the grill or in your toaster to heat both sides.
In a bowl, season the ground chicken with garlic salt, garlic powder and pepper. Mix in the chili paste, fish sauce, lime juice, cilantro and green onion. Mix well and form nine small slider patties.
Grill or fry the patties for a few minutes on each side until thoroughly cooked. Add cheese if desired, but these taste exceptional without cheese. You choose!
Whisk together the Sriracha sauce, mayonnaise and a handful of chopped cilantro. Sprinkle a little bit of pepper in the mixture, too.
Spread some Sriracha spread on the top and bottom of each piece of bread. Place cilantro and Bok Choy (or lettuce and tomato) on one side, place the chicken patty on top and add the other half of the bun.
You’ll thank me for how easy and amazing these sliders are! Best. Sliders. Ever!
Happy grilling!
