You have to admit it, the gym and the golf course just aren’t sufficient anymore. It’s time to bond with your guy friends who love to cook! I have some incredibly, tasty and easy recipes for you to try. So, get ready for the ultimate hang time with some of your buddies by cooking, drinking, watching The Olympics and then finishing it all off with a great manly meal.
Start with a crazy cocktail: Bourbon and Lemonade
You guys know how to make a drink so I don’t need to bore you with the exact measurements of each ingredient. So it goes like this…put Bourbon in a shaker, add lemonade of your choice and a splash of club soda. Add the ice, shake and pour into mammoth manly mason jars. Gulp!
Next up: Spicy Wings
Get three pounds of chicken wings, preferably boneless unless you love to bite around the bone.
Get the grill fired up.
Mix wings with 2 Tbsp garlic olive oil and a dash of salt.
Grill wings until cooked through. You Type-A grill masters know exactly how many minutes to grill these, but I’d recommend 25-30 minutes.
Inside, let one of your buddies mix in a bowl 4 Tbsp (or more) of any type of Thai Chili Sauce. I recommend Simply Asia Thai Kitchen roasted red chili paste. Squirt on some Red Boat fish sauce and swizzle on some Sriracha sauce. Add 2 Tbsp of honey and toss in the grilled wings.
Put wings on a baking sheet and broil a few minutes to caramelize.
Since I always say, presentation is key, then sprinkle on some sliced green onions and chow down with your manly cocktails and beer.
