I’m big on national days (as if you haven’t noticed these past 10 years I’ve been blogging! Ha!), and on April 16th it was National Record Store Day. I know I'm a bit late but better late than never!
I remember my favorite record store in California was called Power Records. Remember that place? I’d scan through all the aisles of records in their bins and look at the album covers and reminisce. Those were the good ol’ days!
My favorite records are by Bruce Springsteen. Surprise, surprise! My favorite albums and covers are Born to Run, Born in the U.S.A. (Bruce in those jeans - oh my!), Springsteen’s Greatest Hits, Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J (Spirits in the Night!) and The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle (My favorite song is Rosalita!).
If you like the Boss as much as I do, read or listen to Bruce’s book, Born to Run. In the audiobook, Bruce narrates with his sexy voice! Also, listen to his podcast with Barack Obama. Very cool.
