Cabo? Guapo? Guacamoleo?

Exclusive Resorts is where it's at! For my monthly Report Reco (i.e. recommendation), I highly recommend an Exclusive Resorts membership!

I recently returned home from a fabulous trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; an auction item I purchased with a friend from the Menlo School Benefit auction last year. Yippee! Ai! Yay! It was a beautiful and well-orchestrated trip just for my girlfriends and me! Sorry kids. :( And while I was there, I even picked up some Spanish such as, "Muchas Gracias Señor!"

To say the least, we were treated like princesses our entire stay! Upon arrival, we were welcomed at the gate with margaritas and then whisked away to the resort. Our villa came equipped with our very own golf cart, which was extraordinary. Our designated driver was very responsible, so we never got lost on the enormous Esperanza Resort! And to top it all off, we even had our own chef who had homemade guacamole waiting for us. Yum!

Besides fresh guac, we also ate delicious fish tacos at neighboring restaurants such as The Office (I got so much work done at that place, too!) and at Edith's. But the true find was Flora Farms in San Jose del Cabo. It's quite a distance from Cabo San Lucas, but worth the trip! The décor is splendid with strands of cafe lights throughout the exterior of the restaurant. The cool, young fellow band (which was playing when we arrived) was adorable. It was a bit chilly since it is an open-air type of restaurant, but the bartender was quick to research how to make hot toddies to warm us up. It was truly a fun experience! Oh…and the food was good, too! Ha!

Not to be outdone by the food, the spa at the resort is outstanding as well. We all just HAD to have a massage outside on the beach in a tent with the ocean winds tickling our faces. And the fresh basil cucumber drinks were a happy welcome to us, as well. I'd have to say that we were all pretty relaxed after those treatments. We were spoiled to say the least!

Oh, but the DANCING!!! (I hope you all know by now, that I LOVE to dance.) Cabo was quite quiet during our stay, however, we were able to mix it up a bit. Who cared if it was only the four of us dancing on the dance floor? The music was rockin' and we were boppin'! Our plan was to exercise every morning with Piloxing and Yoga, but the dancing took over. There was no need for any exercise after our dancing queen performances!

If you’d like to organize a trip to Cabo for your friends or family, just ask!
