Make Goals for the New Year—Part 1

I woke up this morning and started taking notes about all that I’d like to do this year. It was invigorating and exciting! I’d like to share my goals and resolutions with you as inspiration for creating your own. Here’s the first half of my list:

Goal #1—Enhance my spirituality by learning how to meditate and meditating on a regular basis.

I signed up to go on a meditation retreat with Rupert Spira. If you’d like to learn more about Rupert, read his book, “The Ashes Of Love.” I’ll report to you about my spiritual experience after I complete the week long retreat in March. Which is coming up very soon, yikes!

Goal #2—Maintain and challenge my physical fitness regime.

I’m participating in a Pure Barre challenge (surprise, surprise!) by taking 30 classes in 45 days. What will your physical challenge be?

Goal #3—Check off a bucket list item.

One of my bucket list items is to see the Northern Lights, so I’m going to Iceland. If you’d like to travel to Iceland, I have all the information you need including the right clothes to pack. Just Ask! Remember, as your adventure stylist, I can help you research, plan and pack for a trip anywhere in the world.

Goal #4—Read more.

I love to read and I came across this great app called, Blinkist. It’s an app of best-selling non-fiction books that gives you 5 blinks or key ideas about the book. The categories range from personal growth, to time management, to communication skills and more. If you don’t have a lot of time to read an entire book but want to keep up with reading the bestsellers, this is the app for you!

Goal #5—Plan an event for a loved one.

I’m going to plan a college graduation! I have loads of new creative ideas to share that will connect your friends and family together. It’s very important to have a social connection with family, friends, colleagues, neighbors and communities in order to find harmony. Let me help you find happiness by planning an event for you! Just Ask.

Stay tuned for Part 2 of my goals list. Happy New Year!
