Robin Laub, a Life Stylist

My Current Style Faves

As a life stylist, I often get asked what my favorite this or favorite that is. So, I thought I’d give you a little insight into my fave’s of the moment.

Fave Style Mantra

“Less is more!”

Fave Everyday Shoes

My Tom’s! I have a few pairs, but I love the natural tan color slip-ons because they go with every color and casual outfit. These shoes are incredibly comfy! I’ll even throw them in my purse to change into afterwards if I’m wearing heels to a meeting, lunch or dinner.

Fave Signature Accessory

A scarf. Surprise, surprise! Whether I use it as a wrap, a bandanna or as a basic drape, scarves are an accessory must. I like all kinds too, silky, festive, wool and cotton. Choose which one fits your style.

Fave Shimmering Scent

I don’t leave home without a spritz of Jo Malone in grapefruit. I’m more of a citrusy gal and I love the hand cream, body wash and body lotion, as well. The citrusy scent is what I’m all about.

Fave Everyday Concealer

I use Clé de Peau Beauté in ivory so I don’t leave any dark circles under my eyes “un-concealed!” This works great on the hands and neck, too. I keep a concealer stick in my purse, make up bag and in my car for any touch-ups!

Fave Flower

White French tulips!

Fave Meal

Breakfast. I especially crave a breakfast egg sandwich, which is one fried egg on a toasted whole wheat bread english muffin with a sprinkle of grated cheddar cheese. I love a fried egg when the egg yolk oozes out of the middle so I can sop it up with a piece of my english muffin. I can taste it now. Yum! I also like to take a few sips with a striped straw in my mini carton of Iced Blue Bottle Coffee. That’s my sweet treat at breakfast and just a few sips does the trick!

Fave Driving Music

Anything on Sirius XM Radio channel BPM (boom, boom, boom!) and Radio channel E Street blaring, The Boss.

Fave Savory Snack

Cape Cod Potato Chips plunked into French Onion Dip. Mouthwatering!

Fave Celebratory (or Everyday) Cocktail

Veuve Clicquot. Duh!

Fave Art Genre

19th Century Impressionism. My all-time favorite artists are Monet, Degas, Renoir, Matisse and Cézanne. But my new current fave is all genres of art produced by emerging and established women artists in the California Bay Area.

Fave City

Well, we all know this…Paris, of course!

What are some of your faves right now? Go ahead and leave a comment, I’d love to hear from you!
