But it’s because organization makes my life so much happier, sweeter and stress-free! When it comes to organizing a desk, I love all of the fabulous options! From desk accessories to storage bins, paper to binders and fancy stylish pens and pencils, each item gives a different level of organization. Here’s how I outfitted one desk of mine (yes, I have several desks because I’m so organized!). Ha!
1.I purchased a dry-erase board made out of bamboo. This is perfect to display a “to do” list for your family and for saving paper. My kids love it for little reminders! Ha!
2. I purchased a copper wire waste basket, matching letter holder and pencil cup all to coordinate together. Note to self: Don’t throw used contact lens in the waste basket because they slide right through the wire mesh. :) Whoops!
3. For all of my projects, I have colorful folders or binders. I love bright pink, purple and lime green polka-dot folders to add a little pop to my creative workspace.
4. For each of my clients, I have a project organizer to hold all necessary contact information, sketches, pricing, photos and my “to do” task list. Ask any of my clients about my extensive task list. :)
5. To spruce up my office wall, I added a bulletin board with a magnetic strip for mighty magnets. For extra organization, include the pocket strip wall organizer, too!
6. One can’t be too organized or have too many project folders or envelopes. It’s the reason why I love the letter size clear view plastic envelopes. They’re great for safekeeping all of my invoices!
7. And who doesn't love a little Kate Spade? I bought their fun and fashionable pencils to dress up my desk and inspire me to do more writing.
