What’s in Your Fridge Smoothie

Have you looked in your fridge lately? Are you wondering what to do with some of the leftover fruit, veggies and milk? Well, I just made an amazing smoothie that I’d like to share with you.

Now that I need to be more diligent about what I’m eating (as I’ve definitely changed my eating and drinking habits during this pandemic. Ugh! But oh so fun! Ha!), I decided to take on smoothie making. A little of this and a little of that will make a perfect, What’s in Your Fridge Smoothie. Trust me. Ha!

Here’s my recipe I concocted in about 30 minutes…

Ingredients

A small kiwi (peel the skin off)

7 leaves of spinach

A handful of butter lettuce

7 baby carrots

30 champagne grapes (had to get some champagne in there somehow!)

5 strawberries

1 banana (mine was very bruised)

2 mini Gala apples (great for centerpieces, too!)

6 oz. of pink strawberry mylk (that’s NOT a typo. Ha! I get mine from Sakara, it’s a mix of almond milk, coconut milk, strawberries, water and maple syrup.)

A packet of Sakara Metabolism super powder (so you'll feel like a super hero like all those Avengers! Yes, I’ve been binge watching all of the Marvel movies.)

2 oz. of SPORTea iced tea

5 ice cubes

Directions

Place all of the ingredients in a blender and swirl away until smooth! I recommend the Italian SMEG blender for best smoothie results.

Pour into a glass and enjoy!

This smoothie is super easy to make, helps clean out your fridge, energizes your day and can help combat sluggishness and fatigue. The best part is you can experiment with all sorts of ingredients to find your perfect smoothie combination. Need some more flavor ideas? Just Ask!
