San Diego Is A Go Go!

Someone pinch me. I have the best job! I am so lucky to be able to get to travel and learn about exquisite places to visit for my clients. Recently with some of my own research (have I mentioned how I love to research?) and some guidance from Goop, I headed down to one of the most beautiful places in the country that is touted for its’ wonderful weather. Where? Read the headline! ;)

I stayed at a resort called, Rancho Valencia. Don’t get confused with Rancho La Puerta where you’ll need to be escorted after you cross over the border. Ha!

You’ll want to pack your bags after you read my top eight excellent and enjoyable activities to do at Rancho Valencia.

1. Dine at Veladora. Enjoy fresh ingredients and sip some of the rarest wines from their wine room. They even have a Coravin list. Bonus!

2. Play lawn games such as croquet on their croquet lawn or bocce on their bocce court. Learn how to play ladder ball by not falling while drinking the resort’s handcrafted cocktails. Gulp.

3. Take a gentle yoga class, a Pilates reformer class or even a spin class. All gratuite! The Yoga Pavilion is a must with a serene pond setting for your stress-free gaze.

4. Enjoy The Valencia Vichy at The Spa. One can stay at The Spa all day with its’ own pool and cabanas with all the tranquil necessities. They even have freshly-made organic kale juice in the fridge.

5. Watch the glorious sunsets from your room or from the resorts’ terrace with fire pits. It truly will take your breath away. You might even spot a hot air balloon whooshing by.

6. Take a test drive in one of their many Porsche models and whisk down to see the pretty Pacific Ocean. All comp’ed of course!

7. Hike Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. The trails all lead to the amazing views of the ocean. This is a 15 minute drive from the resort, but totally a go go!

8. Tennis anyone? RV is known for their tennis. There is open play and for tennis enthusiasts, there are tennis clinics and private tennis lessons. They have 17 courts all nestled amongst the orange groves. Wait, that’s why it’s called Rancho Valencia? Ha!

Go go and enjoy San Diego. And if you’d like me to organize all the essential organizational details for a trip to remember, Just Ask by clicking the link!
