Black tie, Red tie or White tie?

No matter the color tie, party rock is in the house tonightttttt, everybody just have a good time!

Who doesn't like a good party? You know, the ones that have fun music, delicious food, good conversation and GREAT friends! I have some fabulous tips to get you ready for your next event. So hold on tight because it takes some careful thought and effort to look your very best.

For women, one of the easiest things to do is go to your favorite hot-spot salon and get a shampoo/blow dry hairstyle. It can either be an up-do, some curls or maybe even just a poufy ponytail. I vote for a messy style ponytail if you have long hair and retro spiked hair when you wear a backless or halter dress. For men, simply slick back your hair with some pomade. Super sexy!

Next, women can glam it up with a set of false eyelashes. I always do this for big events to enhance my eyes with the long and flashy lashes. Either do your entire make-up application yourself or simply go to your favorite cosmetics counter and have your eyes done. It's all in the eyes! Wink wink. With your eyes aglow, then all you need to do is simply brush a light colored matte lipstick on your lips with a swipe of gloss. Gorgeous! For men, groom your cute mug and clean out your ears! haha

As for an outfit, I try to just use what I already have in my closet, BUT I already have outfits because on a normal ho-hum day I'll be out shopping and randomly come across something for a future event and will buy it! You know if you go out only looking for an outfit you'll undoubtedly come up empty-handed. So my tip is to shop regularly and often. If the shoe fits, then buy it! Do not wait until the last minute. For men's outfits a formal affair is easy. Rent or buy a tuxedo, but be sure to throw in a fun colored bow-tie and cummerbund to show off your style. Or swagger into an event "GQ" style. Either way works well for men!

And for both women and, yes, men, get your nails manicured and don't forget your toes! Why not? Feeling good + looking good = a fun event!

BUT…with looking amazing, you should also have a positive attitude that you're going to have fun, dance up a storm (if you like to dance, like I do) or be incredibly social and meet at least one new person that day or evening.

My last tip is to use a car service or have a designated driver bring you to and from your event. It makes life easier, more comfortable and will set the tone of your evening.

And remember, even if you don't like going to fancy events, you can still dress up and feel good about yourself. A quiet evening at home can be just as fun with the right attitude. Anyone can look good, it's all a state of mind of how you feel :)

Everybody just have a good time!
