This Year’s Jack-O-Lantern Look

Pumpkins can be carved, roasted and even painted! The new trend this Halloween season is to paint your pumpkins in a multitude of colors. So, to guarantee you’re on trend, here are 3 quick décor ideas:

1) Get Rosy

Paint your pumpkin a rosy pink color. Get a glue gun and glue on beautiful silk flower buds in all different shades of pink all over the pumpkin. Place your creation on a platter with mini pumpkins painted in a lighter shade of pink and scatter more flowers on the platter to make a rosy centerpiece.

2) Think Small

Purchase a variety of different colored mini pumpkins such as white, yellow, green, and bright orange and line them up and down your front or back step. Get some black paint (or even a black marker) and outline the lines of the pumpkins to make them really stand out. Tip: Make sure to use waterproof paint just in case it rains.

3) Bling It

Glam up your plump pumpkin with jewels. Glue one jewel (maybe black or a dark brown) in the center and keep gluing and coiling around into a circle to make bejeweled round shapes. Experiment with painting the pumpkin an emerald green and use deep purple sequins or jewels to enhance the beauty of the powerful pumpkin’s curves. Your creative opportunities are endless!
