Soaking Spotlight

As I’ve mentioned several times before, taking a hot bath is one of my favorite rituals. I’ve recently discovered three new products that are making my bath routine even more tranquilizing. Ahhh.

Epsom salts are my go-to for pain relief of achy muscles but I discovered a new product by goop Body called Phys. Ed. Recovery Bath Soak. This concoction includes apple cider vinegar, arnica and turmeric. It looks like sea salt and smells like a combination of liniment that my dad created for me during my gymnastic days and a little like Atomic Bomb. I can only use the combo of salts, minerals and essential oils once or twice a week because it actually rejuvenates me. So, I wouldn’t recommend taking a bath with these ingredients right before bed. Ideally, I highly recommend soaking in this amazing aromatic composition right after a hard workout.

Another new bath time ritual, something that I learned from Sakara, is to burn a holy wood stick called a Palo Santo. It’s said to cleanse the energy around you and a whiff of it is wonderful, too. It’s also supposed to “carve out some space for new pathways, habits and creations.” I’m currently awaiting my incredible journey. Ha!

After all of this soaking and smelling and mesmerizing, it’s a great time to slather on some body balm. I was given a handmade All in One Balm made in Spain by Diana Burillo and it’s exquisite. It’s made with many different essential oils and butters. It’s so aromatic that you’ll want to slather some of it on your piece of toast. But don’t! Ha!

Any three of these items would be ideal Easter gifts. If you’d like help with shopping or with the creative packaging, Just Ask!
